Campaign Library – Phase 2 – End of Sprint 7 Retrospective

The new update from the Mautic Campaign Library Phase 2 project just landed—and it looks solid. Sprint 7 wrapped up with some good progress, especially on the campaign upload side. If you’ve played with the Campaign Library before, you know having a smooth upload and sharing experience is crucial. This sprint focused on beefing up the backend so that the whole upload flow can handle more contributors without falling apart.

What’s new? First off, the campaign upload page on the Marketplace got its first real version. That means contributors can start uploading campaigns via a multi-step flow that’s shaping up nicely. Plus, contributors can now add image galleries to their campaign templates—finally some visuals to spice things up and preview what you’re uploading.

The team’s also been clearing bottlenecks for frontend work, so the user-facing flows are moving along in parallel with backend improvements. The Mautic-to-Marketplace sharing pipeline is evolving steadily toward a full, seamless upload-download-publish experience, which has been a pain point for some users until now.

Looking ahead to Sprint 8, the focus will be on polishing and finishing the upload and download management features within the user’s “My Uploaded Packages” area—think edits, deletes, and overall management. They’re also kicking off Stripe Connect integration, which hints at some payment or monetization capabilities in the future. Frontend improvements will continue across the board, including browsing and profile views.

Why care? For marketers and Mautic users, this means a smoother way to share and source campaign templates in the near future, eventually making the Campaign Library a truly contributor-driven marketplace. No more clunky uploads or messy workflows—just a clean, scalable way to find and share automation assets.

If you’ve ever wanted to pitch in or get more from the Campaign Library, now’s a good moment to watch this space. The team behind it (shout out to Kaviyaa, Predrag, Anderson, and John) seem to be knocking this out steadily and without drama.

Overall, it’s a practical, no-nonsense update focused on fixing real pain points for Mautic users, not just flashy features. I’m looking forward to seeing that Stripe Connect integration and how that might open doors for monetized campaign packs.
